PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of the occlusal body, sucking-up wick and inductive wick of liquid, which are employed for use in a writing utensil, the occlusal body or the inductive wick of liquid cosmetics, the sucking-up wick for aromatic or the like, which keeps the retentivity, fluidity and diffusibility of liquid at their optimum states and in which the liquid can uniformly flow between respective fibers at the flowing of the liquid, and the occlusal body and inductive wick of the liquid. SOLUTION: In order to manufacture the occlusal body, sucking-up wick and inductive wick of liquid, a tension is applied to a long fiber finished yarn so as to develop a stress strain in the fiber in order to collect a plurality of constituent fiber bundles, which has a crimp ratio of 10 to 50% and are finished to put respective fibers into uniformly open state, so as to diametrically reduce the bundles so as to have a void ratio of 70 to 90%.
