PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize sorting of waste paper being a large burden on a worker and to suppress an increase in the cost due to labor cost. ;SOLUTION: In regard to a book coated with back paste, a book wherein hot melt being the back paste is so applied as to extend among paper sheets in a paper bundle from the back toward the fore edge and wherein a distance from the back of the sheets being in contact with the hot melt to the fore end of the hot melt having extended is 5 mm or less, or a book wherein the depth of a cut in the back is made 3 mm or less and the hot melt is applied to the cut also so that the strength of adhesion between the back paste and the sheets be increased, is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
