PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tantalum powder for a porous sintered body having a large surface area and hardly to cause a defect in formation of a solid state electrolytic coating film. ;SOLUTION: A raw material for tantalum ions is solved in molten salt 3. A reducing agent 8 in a crucible 9 is reacted with the molten salt 3 to reduce the tantalum ions in the molten salt 3 into a metallic state. Then, tantalum powder with radial aggregate particles, in which cylindrical particles are aggregated in a radial form, is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
