PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a presentation to a patron in such a manner that a layout after being newly built up, and a layout which can correspond with a change in the future may be easily understood. ;SOLUTION: These drawing sets A and B comprise a first floor plan l having floor plans 1a and 1b for respective stories wherein the layout when the residence is newly built up is listed, a second floor plan 2 on which a universal space 20 is listed, and a third floor plan 3 wherein a sample of a layout corresponding with the change of a family organization and the change of a life style in the future is listed. On the universal space floor plan 2a constituting the second floor plan 2, a large number of grids 21 are listed with lines 21a and 21b which are formed in the longitudinal and lateral directions with an interval corresponding with the dimension of 915 mm. For this design supporting method, the outline of the building is inputted, and at the same time, arrangement candidate line segments X0 to X4 and Y0 to Y3 for an anti-earthquake wall are inputted. Then, by inputting regions wherein the anti- earthquake wall must not be arranged, and the line segments, the line segments wherein the anti-earthquake wall can be arranged are set, and the anti-earthquake wall is arranged at areas corresponding with the line segments, and a structural calculation is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
