PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the influence upon the peripheral ground or existing nearby structures by mixing a hardener with earth and sand by agitation more effectively than the conventional example and, at the same time, without removing earth and sand basically. ;SOLUTION: In a mechanically agitating deep mixing machine which mixes a discharged hardener with in-situ earth and sand by agitation during the course of penetrating and/or pulling out an agitating shaft R equipped with agitating blades 2 at its front end by rotating the shaft R around its axis, a spiral blade 14 which is formed to have a relatively smaller agitating diameter than the agitating blades 2 have and lifts earth and sand to the ground surface side as the shaft R rotates is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft R over a prescribed extent along the shaft R above the agitating blades 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
