PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To definitely prevent snowmelt and also to compact snow cover by efficiently cooling the whole of snow cover. ;SOLUTION: A header pipe 6 having a plurality of dry air blowing holes 5 is laid on the whole of a base 1 placed on snow cover at the snow-playing facilities, and dry air fulfilling the requirements of 0≤y≤-5x+100, 0x≤10 (where, x: temperature in °C of dry air, y: relative humidity in % of dry air) by a dry air supply source including a compressor and a debumidifier for air compression. The dry air thus produced is supplied to the header pipe 6, dry air is immersed into snow cover from the dry air blowing holes 5, in this way, the dry air is jetted from the surface of snow cover 3 to the atmosphere and then flows in a layer shape along the surface of the snow cover.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
