PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table type data retrieval device that can realize retrieval performance to be obtained at a low cost and dynamically cope with fluctuations in the arrival frequency of packets so as to reduce useless cost.;SOLUTION: A high-speed retrieval device 1 retrieves and hits an entry storing information of a packet whose retrieval result can be required to obtain at a high-speed, the information of the packet whose retrieval performance is a medium degree is not registered to the high-speed retrieval device 1, the high-speed retrieval device 1 mis-hits it, and a medium-speed retrieval device 2 hits the retrieval.
