PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal composition for preventing.treating hemorrhagic diseases caused by the decrease of circulated platelets or the disorder of platelet functions. ;SOLUTION: This medicinal composition contains an effective amount of von Willebrand factor (hereinafter often referred to as vWF) for hemostasis as a main ingredient, preferably contains the vWF in an amount corresponding to 10 to 400 units/kg body weight as Rcof active units.
