PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate measurement range expanding method of a fluid vibration type flow rate sensor for easily obtaining a fluid vibration type flow rate sensor intended to expand measurable flow rate while maintaining a predetermined measurement accuracy. ;SOLUTION: Paying attention to that linear relatin between a vibration frequency and flow rate can not be maintained when the dimension of an element determining the vibration frequency exceeds an upper limit, the upper limit of range maintaining a linear relation between vibration frequency and flow rate is obtained in spite of change in the dimension for one of a plurality of elements determining the vibration frequency of a fluid vibration flow rate sensor 100. Measurement accuracy determined in advance by making use of the dimension for the upper limit of the obtained range is kept and the measurable flow rate range is expanded.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
