PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator for a Rockwell hardness meter hardly causing a parallax and preventing interference between a main pointer and an auxiliary pointer. ;SOLUTION: In this indicator 1 comprising an inside scale plate 2, the main pointer 3 arranged on the upper face of the inside scale plate 2 parallelly to it, the auxiliary pointer 4 arrange between the inside scale plate 2 and the main pointer 3 parallelly to them substantially, and a cover plate 8 covering the inside scale plate 2, the main pointer 3 and the auxiliary pointer 4, graduation lines 9 are arranged on the inside face of the cover plate 8, and the main pointer 3 is brought close to the covering plate 8 so that a sufficient clearance is held between the auxiliary pointer 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
