PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallax barrier, an automatic stereoscopic vision 3D picture and an automatic stereoscopic vision 3D display in which performance is improved by the existence of plural sub-apertures with respect to each aperture. SOLUTION: As to this parallax barrier; plural parallel slim apertures extending in a first direction are included, each aperture has a light transmitting function including plural sub-apertures, and the light transmitting function changes in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
