PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a target scattered point with resolution determined by a carrier-frequency variation of a pulse or more. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a frequency covering means 12 for conducting fast Fourier transform prodessing range-directionally to provide a frequency data as to each crossrange-directional component of a target image, a band width expanding means 13 including a linear prediction means 15 for providing an autoregressive coefficient based on the frequency data, and a frequency expanding means 16 for providing a frequency-expanded data based on the autoregressive coefficient, and a super-resolution processing means 14 including a covariance matrix calculating means 17 for providing a covariance matrix of the frequency expensed data, a movement average calculating means 18 for providing an average covariance matrix based on a movement average of a minor matrix of the covariance matrix, an eigenvalue analyzing means 19 for providing the minimum eigenvalue based on eigenvallue analysis of the average covariance matrix, an evaluation function calculating means 20 for providing an evaluation function provided based on the minimum eigenvalue, a range estimating means 21 for retrieving a peak of an amplitude value of the evaluation function to provide the target scattered point based on a range value thereof, and a reflection intensity estimating means 22 for providing reflection intensity in the target scattered point based on the estimated range value.
