PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of dew condensation on slide glass and the consequent clouding thereof when a specimen temperature management device for the microscope is used by being cooled. ;SOLUTION: The protector for the specimen temperature management device used in the specimen temperature management device having a cooling plate has a box body 55 having a specimen cooling plate 57 riding on the cooling plate and a dry air supply section for supplying dry air to a specimen arrangement space 59 which is the inside of this box body 55.
