PURPOSE:To obtain a developer for heat fixing attaining heat fixing with low thermal capacity while ensuring excellent fixability, anti-offsetting property and developing property and capable of ensuring high durability. CONSTITUTION:This developer for heat fixing contains at least a bonding resin, a colorant and a metal-contg. compd. The chromatogram of the bonding resin measured by gel permeation chromatography has at least one max. value in each of the mol.wt. regions of 2,000-30,000 and 800,000-3,000,000 and only a polymer having the max. value on the high mol.wt. side has polar groups capable of forming crosslinked bonds.
