PURPOSE:To provide the developer for heat-fixing which prevents the fault and the scraping on the surface of a fixing film and the sticking of a residual developer and attains excellent fixing property and resistance to offset. CONSTITUTION:In the developer which is used for the fixing method which heat-fixes the sensible picture 20 of the developer on the recording material 19 by using the fixed.supported heating body 11 and the pressure member 18 which is pressure-welded opposite to the heating body 11 and which adheres closely the recording material 19 to the heating body 11 through a film 15, the developer is incorporated with the fine powder treated with silicone oil or silicone wax, and the specific surface area of the fine powder is 0.4-0.8 times thereof before being treated with the silicone oil or the silicone wax.
