PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a Co-Fe-Ni-based soft magnetic film having 5 Oe low coercive force and 20,000-23,000 G highly saturated magnetic flux density to obtain a magnetic storage device having a little thermal fluctuation inspite of high recording density. ;SOLUTION: A Co-Fe-Ni-based magnetic film having a 50 to 80 wt.% cobalt content, a 20 to 40 wt.% iron content, a 3 to 10 wt.% nickel content and a 40 nm average crystal diameter is produced by an electroplating method. And a magnetic head is constituted of the magnetic film used in a magnetic pole layer 2 and further combined with a high coercive force medium having 3,500-7,000 Oe medium coercive force to constitute a magnetic storage device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
