PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition of a fine powdery material and/or a fine fibrous material comprising a heat resistant high function polymer and/or a polyvinyl alcohol which can use a material obtained from wastes and which can be used as an admixture for composite materials such as FRP. SOLUTION: The composition comprises a heat resistant high function polymer and/or a polyvinyl alcohol which may be obtained from wastes and is (a) a fine powdery material with a particle length of 0.1 m to 100 m, (b) a fine fibrous material with a longer diameter of the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the fiber of 0.1 m to 100 m and an arithmetic mean fiber length of 0.01 mm to 1 mm or (c) a mixture of these.
