PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a sintered ore having higher yield and excellent quality than that produced by a conventional method without needing a specific facility by using much pisolitic iron ore which is rich as resource and low-cost. ;SOLUTION: As an iron-containing raw material except a returned ore, the pisolitic iron ore and a high grade iron ore having ≤1.5 mass % SiO2 content are used and the pisolitic iron ore is blended at 30-80 mass %, and not lower than 50 mass % of the pisolitic iron ore is regulated to have ≤1.5 mass % Al2O3 content. Not higher than 80 mass % of the high grade iron ore can be replaced with the low Al2O3 iron ore having ≤0.3 mass ratio of Al2O3/SiO2 and the other high Al2O3 iron ore, etc. can be blended in the range that 80% or more of the iron-containing raw material except the returned ore is occupied by the total of the pisolite, the high grade iron ore and the low Al2O3 iron ore.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
