PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous sheet that can form a macromolecular gel electrolyte that exhibits a high ion conductivity by swelling and/or gelatinization using an electrolytic solution, a macromolecular gel electrolyte using this sheet, and a manufacturing method of the gel electrolyte. SOLUTION: A fiber sheet is composed of fibrous material of at least two species of acrylonitrile copolymer, and when this fiber sheet is soaked vertically to the liquid surface of diethyl carbonate solution, this is a porous sheet material for macromolecular gel polyelectrolyte formation characterized as the fibrous material which has a function of pumping up electrolytic solution of diethyl carbonate by more than 1.5 mm/min.
