METHOD FOR GENERATING SYNCHRONIZING PULSES REPRESENTING SYMBOL BORDER OF OFDM SIGNAL AND METHOD FOR RECEIVING OFDM SIGNAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating synchronizing pulses representing symbol borders of an OFDM signal and a method for receiving the OFDM signal which are simpler and less in cost and preferably can obtain a more precise result. SOLUTION: The absolute value of a composite sample wherein OFDM symbols succeed is calculated, the difference of the mentioned value and another value which are separated by a cycle representing the effective part of the OFDM symbols is decided and integrated over multiple symbols, and the sample position indicating a point where the integrated difference value substantially varies is decided to generate frame synchronizing pulses, which are used to perform FFT demodulation of the OFDM symbols.
