DOUBLE-LAYER DAY-LIGHTING ROOF FOR FOLDED PLATE ROOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drop of dewdrops while maintaining the structure of a folded plate roof, by interposing transparent ridge interval retaining materials between ridges of two transparent folded plates which are correspondingly corrugated and superposed, combining the two folded plates in one body, and extending drooping edges of the upper folded plate on both sides of the same. ;SOLUTION: Two correspondingly corrugated transparent folded plates 4, 5 are arranged so as to be combined in one body such that one of them is superposed on the other at a predetermined interval by square-bar type transparent ridge interval retaining members 6 which are interposed between ridges 4a, 5a of the respective plates 4, 5 over the almost entire longitudinal length of the ridges 4a, 5a. Then a hollow portion S communicating with the outside is formed between the folded plates 4, 5 at a portion other than the portions where the ridge interval retaining members 6 are disposed. Further, drooping edges 4d, 4d extending from the ridges 4a, 4a are protruded on both sides of the upper folded plate 4. By the thermal insulating function of an air layer flowing in the hollow portion S, dew condensation on the rear surface of a double-layer lighting roof member is suppressed, and rainwater infiltration from gaps between the drooping edge and metal folded plates adjacent thereto on both sides can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
