PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection circuit for surely detecting, in the switching power supply providing a plurality of outputs, interlayer short circuit generated in the secondary side output wiring having a light load which cannot be detected with an overcurrent detecting circuit of a primary side coil and stably protecting the transformer, before it reaches on abnormally high temperature. ;SOLUTION: A protection circuit for the switching power supply detects a voltage of the output, having lowest load among the outputs of the secondary coil, to stop the drive of switching element when the voltage becomes lower than the predetermined value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
