METHOD FOR KILLING LARVA OF INSECT OF FAMILY PSYCHODIDAE AND OTHER DIPTEROUS INSECT AND KILLING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and tool for the efficient extermination of dipterous insect easily by the user using only an extremely small amount of insecticidal component to decrease the load on environment. ;SOLUTION: This insect-killing tool is a float 10 floating on the water surface for a prescribed period (not shorter than 5 days) and thereafter dispersed in water by the decomposition or dissolution of at least a part of the float 10. The float 10 contains an insecticidal component for killing dipterous insects and an organic component which is an ingestion object of the insects. The float 10 is floated on the surface of filthy water to kill the larva grown on the float 10 within the above prescribed period and kill the larva growing in the filthy water after dispersed in the water by the decomposition or dissolution of at least a part of the float 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
