PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply conduct repair in a case when ground subsidence is generated around the upper end section of a vertical pipe projected towards a ground surface from a sewer pipe line or the like. ;SOLUTION: A cover frame 14 is composed of a lower frame 15 and an upper frame 16 fitted to the lower frame 15. The upper frame 16 is removed from the lower frame 15 besides separation between the upper frame 16 and a ground in the periphery of the protective cover by a separation screw 430 for the upper frame 16 at that time, a fixed number of ring-shaped spacers in fixed thickness are charged to the lower frame 15, and the upper frame 16 is fitted onto the spacers again, thus adjusting the height of the cover frame 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
