PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive probe that can change the refractive angle and can set the beam width of ultrasonic waves to a prescribed width, even if the refractive angle is changed. ;SOLUTION: A traveling wedge 3 adheres to a semicircular wedge 2 and can move along the circumferential surface of the semicircular wedge 2. In a group of vibrators 4, rectangular vibratos adhere and are arranged in a line on the traveling wedge 3, and a vibrator selection switch 6 is connected to each vibrator by wiring 5 so that each vibrator can be excited independently. By changing the position of the traveling wedge 3, a refractive angle can be changed. By changing the number of vibrators to be excited, the width of the vibrators can be changed.
