PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greater connecting strength to a connector for a tightening rope in a synthetic resin antiskid device for a tire.;SOLUTION: This connector is comprised of an insertion member c1 fastened to one end of a tightening rope a1 and a receiving member c2 fastened to the other end of the rope a1. The insertion member c1 is formed with an insertion portion 11, a latch shaft 12, and an auxiliary dent 6. The receiving member c2 is formed with a receiving portion 21, a latch member 23 and an auxiliary protrusion 5. The latch member 23 is formed with a hook 23b pivotally attached to the receiving member c2. The hook 23b is always pressed into the receiving portion 21. To fasten the connector, the latch shaft 12 of the insertion portion 11 is pressed to the hook 23b in the receiving portion 21 to rotate in a withdrawing direction into the deepest end of the receiving portion 21.
