PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a pot to have a margin in dimensional accuracy and also heat the pot instantly without a preheating step.;SOLUTION: The pot 6 is subjected to an electromagnetic induction heating by alternating field generated from the electromagnetic induction coil 2. By this arrangement, even if the pot 6 is not so high in dimensional accuracy, heating efficiency to the pot 6 is maintained to be substantially unchanged. Furthermore, even if the base of the pot 6 is deformed about 3 mm, heating efficiency is unaffected and it is easy to control the temperature of the pot 6.
