PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain a composite having formed/fixed hydroxyapatite on the surface of the base material at a high formation ratio by alternately immersing the base material having a hydrophilized surface in a solution containing calcium ion but not phosphate ion and in a solution containing phosphate ion but not calcium ion. ;SOLUTION: A base material having hydrophilized at least on the surface is alternately immersed in a calcium solution containing calcium ion but substantially not phosphate ion and in a solution of phosphoric acid containing phosphate ion but substantially not calcium ion at least about 5-100 times to prepare a composite having formed/fixed hydroxy apatite on the surface of the base material. A solution of calcium chloride is used as the calcium solution and sodium hydrogenphosphate is used as the solution of phosphoric acid.
