PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a fired body provided with an antifungal glaze layer exhibiting excellent antifungal effect and to provide the fired body provided with the antifungal glaze layer produced by the method and the glaze powder containing antifungal metal component used to the fired body. ;SOLUTION: The antifungal metal component-carrying inorg. material particles carrying either at least one side of Ag or Cu on the surface of one or ≥2 kinds of inorg. material particles comprising primarily of either zinc oxide, calcium carbonate, alumina and zirconium are compounded in the glaze powder. The fired body provided with the antifungal glaze layer whose base surface is covered with the antifungal glaze layer containing at least one side of Ag or Cu is obtained by forming a glaze powder layer by applying the glaze powder on at least one part of the surface of a base constituted with ceramic or metal in the form of slurry and firing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
