PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measuring precision by performing exactly error correction of a heat generating resistor type air flow rate measuring apparatus when an amount of reverse flow generation is changed by variable suction valve timing.;SOLUTION: In order to cope with the purpose, a correction map of an amount of correction is turned into three dimensions from two dimensions..That is, the conventional two-dimensional map of the throttle valve opening and the number of revolutions of an engine is turned into a correction map wherein the axis of variable suction valve timing is added. Thereby the optimum control of fuel injection is possible to an engine provided with variable suction valve timing mechanism, and a fuel injection system which exhibits capability of the mechanism to the utmost is realized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
