PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a beautiful personal font to reflect the personality even for people who can not write characters beautiful by extracting personal parameters of hand written characters, and by modifying parts reflecting personality of standard font according to the personal parameters. SOLUTION: A character recognition part outputs a character code of recognition result to a personality extraction means 2 by using character patterns outputted from a pattern fetching means 1 as an input. The personality extraction means 2 extracts personal parameters of hand written characters and outputs them to a signal line 100s. An extraction means 4 of personality reflecting parts reads out a standard font 3 for every single character from the standard font 3 via a signal line 201s, and extracts a part to be added with deformation to reflect personality from the standard character 3. A personality reflecting means 5 receives parameters of positions of a voiced sound symbol and a semivoiced sound symbol, a size of loop, and modification of roundness as the personal parameters, and converts the coordinate point of standard font 3 as a whole.
