PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a subscriber of a cable television to display and confirm an electronic program guide(EPG) that is retransmitted as a digital broadcast service by receiving service information(SI) of a broadcast program included in the digital broadcast service, mixing a multiplexed and digital modulated signal to the service information so as to obtain a prescribed transfer rate and transmitting the resulting signal to a transmission line.;SOLUTION: Satellite digital broadcast reception terminals 103-110 select and receive a prescribed program, give the received program to multiplexers 112, 115 without modifying digital data of the received program, set a ID of the selected program, extract and output the program packet of the set ID. Furthermore, an SI information multiplexer 18 converts the SI information selected by an SI terminal 111 is converted by an SI information multiplexer 118 to have a prescribed transfer rate and outputted.
