A micro-controller (7) adopts total control of a digital video broadcast (DVB) receiver for running an HTML browser. Before transmission, graphics data for HTML pages is converted into MPEG-I frames by means of a converter tool. The HTML pages correspond to the HTML standard and can be displayed with HTML browsers installed on DVB receivers.
