PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dogwood, high in cultivation density because of its tree standing upright and its branches not extending much, easily cultivated and controlled, having branches hard to be snapped off by snow, excellent in decoration because of its flowers being large and in bloom even on the lower branches, and high in resistance to disease, in particular to powdery mildew.;SOLUTION: This dogwood has branches whose middle portions slanting at 25 to 35° to the trunk at the middle portion of each of the 6-year-old stock, and bract-containing inflorescences of 11 to 14 cm in size.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
