PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent mechanical characteristics by subjecting a collagen compound of a collagen product containing the sea-origin collagens obtainable from ocean animals to a deodorization treatment by using an active material allowing the simultaneous execution of a crosslinking treatment of collagents in a process of producing the collagen product.;SOLUTION: The collagen product containing the sea-origin collagens obtainable from the ocean animals, such as fishes, jellyfishes, mollusks and crustacean, consists of one or more collagens or their derivatives including their hydrolyzates and has a low-odorous property. At least part of the collagens or their derivatives are the sea-origin products and are produced by subjecting these to the deodorization treatment by using the active material, such as ozone, allowing the simultaneous execution of the crosslinking treatment of the collagens to improve the mechanical properties of the collagens.
