A method to improve the Water Retention of a suspension of Cellulose Fibers by a withholding agent for a phenol formaldehyde Resin and an oxide of poLietileno and a withholding agent which comprises a phenolformaldehyde Resin and an oxide
It is a method and an agent to improve the retention by removing water from a suspension of Cellulose fibres.According to this Method,The suspension was AgregaA a withholding Agent that contains a phenol Resin and polyethylene formadehido unoxido numbers; the method is characterized in that the suspension is added to a ResinPhenol formaldehyde modified containing cationic groups.Preferably, the phenol Resin - formaldehidomodificada will cationicidadde around 5 to 85% and the cationic Amine groups are groups. It is desirable that the oxide polietielenodel withholding agent has a Molecular Weight of approximately 0.5 to 20 x 10 (6).Preferably,Modified phenol formaldehyde Resin and depolietileno oxide is added to the suspension with a Weight ratio between phenol formaldehyde Resin and polyethylene oxide is 1: 550: 1; and preferably, the amount of polyethylene oxide added will be approximately 10 to 10000 ppm, depending on the dry Solids content of the suspension. It is advisable to add the suspension firstly modified phenol formaldehyde Resin and polyethylene oxide.
