Filaments oriented plates are produced using a continuous Belt Press and using a Binder of isocyanate with steam exposure of the mattress material Wood before entry to the prENSA. Steam Exposure provides Moisture that Softens The Wood Fibers and increases the flow delignina in mattress.In addition, humidity reacts with isocyanate Binder for producing polyurea from isocyanate Binder (e.g.Elligante PMDI is Preferred); thereby reducing the curing conditions (i.e., temperature, pressure, and time required in the Press for mattress and Binder Melt together.The Binder also isocyanate reacts with the hydroxyl groups of Cellulose and hemicellulose in the filaments of the Wood material to allow the formation of Chemical Bonds and physical with theWood material. The filament Plate oriented out of the Press has a higher Moisture content and is more resistant to swelling thickness under humid conditions.
