The invented harvesting attachment for agricultural machines intended for picking and transporting stalk crops such as maize plants comprises a system of cutting and transporting elements (9) being arranged in the machine working position side-by-side on the machine central part (1), and further it comprises two side parts (2, 3) turnably mounted on said central part (1). The side parts (2, 3) are swingable by means of hydraulic cylinders (14) at free ends of supporting arms (12), while said supporting arms (12) are mounted through the mediation of their inner ends in swingable manner by means of other hydraulic cylinders (15) on said central part (1) shaft (13) that is arranged in the travel direction (F) of the machine.
