It incorporates a thermostatic cut-off valve, which opens at a predetermined process temperature. - In the open state, the cut-off valve allows fluid to pass through the apparatus for collection in a container (2) for clean water. The apparatus contains two interconnected containers (1,2), the first containing impure water and the second clean water. The containers are positioned one above the other, with the cut-off valve between them. The uppermost container is located in a solar catchment device (5).
