The circuit is designed to selectively provide supply voltage from an input feed line with live, neutral, and earth conductors, to individual or parallel connected items of electrical equipment (1). The live conductors (7) have sizes adapted to fuse ratings (44) and a central neutral conductor (5) is used. The electrical units are controlled by hand operated switches (21). The entire installation is connected to an end group of a switching and distribution device (24) containing main switch and fuse (22), and main incoming supply conductors (16,17). Electrical units can be switched remotely by making use of relays which are operated from a central operating panel.
