The electrical line filter (5) has a phase conductor (9) and a neutral conductor (10), where an alternating voltage (U-v) of the supply network is supplied between the phase conductor and the neutral conductor. A switching medium (23) is coupled with X-capacitors (19,20) in a coupling condition of a switching sector (21). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a household appliance with a network part; and (2) a method for operating electrical line filter of a household appliance.
