The assembly (1) for support of an electrical apparatus has a stirrup (2), a disk-shaped distance holder (3) and a support plate (4). The stirrup is formed from a circular pipe, which with a first outer end is fixable to a wall or ceiling. The second outer end (5) turned away from the first outer end is provided with an inwardly bent part (6), with which is connected a pressed together plate-shape part (7). In the plate-shaped part is a bowl-shaped impression (8), in the center of which is a hole (9). the disk-shaped distance holder is also provided with a bowl-shaped impression (10) and on its side turned away from this impression has a bowl-shaped projection (11). Adjacent to the center of the support plate is a bowl-shaped impression (13), in the middle of which is a four-sided hole (14). By drawing the support plate, distance holder and support stirrup together the bowl-shaped parts locate against each other.
