The digital control device for a bicycle rear light detects the degree of light in the atmosphere, the capacity of the rear light battery and the state of movement of the bicytcle. It incorporates a micro-processor (10), an adjustment circuit (20), a capacity detector unit (30), a luminance detector unit (40), a drive force detector unit (50) and a light-emitting unit (60). The adjustment circuit and the capacity detector unit are connected with a battery installation. The adjustment circuit carries out transformation and voltage regulation, supplying capacity to the microprocessor and the other units. If the capacity of the battery installation has the tendency to wane, the adjustment circuit ensures that the weak battery installation can provide normal activity over a period of time.
