Stasticcal analysis of cow characteristics using fuzzy logic to detect oestrum and mastitis with high sensitivity and few false positives

Predicted measurements of functions such as milk yield, temperature and conductivity are accorded upper and lower probability thresholds. Variations in actual measurements are subjected to fuzzy logic analysis, integrated and reverse transformed to give a clear 'true' or 'untrue' indication of mastitis. Oestrum is also indicated.
