Oral pharmaceutical formulations comprising sildenafil in free base form for the treatment of male impotence and female sexual disorders

Provided is a rapidly disintegrating oral pharmaceutical comprising sildenafil free base and a binder is disclosed. The binder is chosen from the group consisting of polyethylene glycol, a sucrose ester, an ethoxylated fatty acid or an ethoxylated alcohol. Also disclosed is a method for treating sexual dysfunction in both males and females. Sildenafil is described in EP 0463756.
