SLACK WAX EMULSION FOR HYDROPHOBISING WOOD-DERIVED BOARDS

摘要

The slack-wax emulsion is designed for impregnating panels made of wood derivatives. It is characterised in that it consists of: 40 - 60 percent by mass of paraffin slack wax, 0.2 - 4 percent of polyvinyl alcohol, 0.1 - 6 percent of glycerine, 30 - 60 percent of water and 0 - 2 percent of a salt of alkyl-aryl-sulphonic acid.
