The object of the invention solves the issue of designing a unit for adjusting the position of car interior equipment element, for example, the headrest in relation to the backrest of an automotive vehicle seat. The position adjustment unit as per the invention consists of a bracket (1) made with positioning cavities and which can be moved in a seat (4), which in turn is equipped with at least one clamping element (6) pressed against the bracket (1) by a part of an elastic fixing element (5). The part of the elastic fixing element (5) is formed suitably to the shape of the clamping element (6).
