PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity to repeatedly record prescribed data by generating a modulating signal assigning one bit of subordinate data to a pit stream or mark stream equal to or greater than a prescribed length so as to properly reproduce the subordinate data concerning the defect of degree capable of properly reproducing main data.;SOLUTION: An additional modulation circuit 14 modulates an EFM signal EFM with a disk identification signal SB so as to locally change a pit shape formed from the EFM signal EFM and not to change the reproduction of audio data with this local change. Thus, a second modulating means is constituted for modulating the EFM signal EFM of a first modulated signal with the disk identification signal SB of the subordinate data. Concerning the defect of degree capable of properly reproducing the audio data of the main data, data are recorded by assigning one bit of the disk identification code SB to the pit stream equal to or greater than the prescribed length so as to properly reproduce the disk identification code SB of the subordinate data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
