PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Cu-based alloy by which an alloy casting having high strength and high thermal conductivity can inexpensively be produced by a simple producing method without limiting the shape dimensions of a molding, and to provide a method for producing a Cu-based alloy molding using the same. ;SOLUTION: A melt of a Cu-based alloy for casting containing, by mass, 3 to 20% Ag, 0.5 to 1.5% Cr and 0.05 to 0.5% Zr is rapidly solidified and molded by casting and is subjected to precipitation aging treatment at 450 to 500°C to precipitation-strengthen the same. Alternatively, a melt of a Cu base alloy for casting containing 3 to 8.5% Ag, 0.5 to 1.5% Cr and 0.05 to 0.5% Zr is solidified by casting, the solidified part or hot worked part is molded into a prescribed shape by jointly using thermomechanical treatment by forging or rolling and precipitation aging treatment to precipitation-strengthen the same.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
