This invention provides a microbe composition comprising three viable and beneficial lactic acid producing bacteria of newstrains: Bifidobacterium bifidum 6-1 (CCTCC Number M 98003), Lactobacillus acidophilus YIT 2004 (CCTCC Number M 98004) andStreptococcus faecalis YIT 0027 (CCTCC Number M 98005). This invention also provides the materials to protect the viability of thelactic acid producing bacteria in lyophilized form and the method to prepare the composition. Finally, this invention provides various usesof the composition.
